For Narciso Rodriguez's flowery fragrance launch at Bloomingdale's we created a floral fantasy of hand sculpted petals replicating the images in the campaign ads. We also built the large fragrance bottle factice, the frosted plexi plinths and 3-dimensional lettering.
To create a sparkling centerpiece for the gorgeous wedding dresses of Justin Alexander's latest Bridal fashion show, Geoff Howell Studio made this 12 foot high hanging tree sculpture comprised of thousands of hand-cut leaves hanging from a stylized starburst of tree branches that continued onto the floor to create a suggestion of roots. The entire piece was brightly spot-lit through gobos that created a brillliant diamond-like effect with the slightest movement.
To help provide the selfie-obsessed instagrammers with exotic environments for portraits, Refinery29 asked us to help bedeck one of their "29 Rooms" art installation style event with three giant, hanging experiential flowers that were later equipped with immersive video and sound.
A picture is worth a 1000 thread counts and to help celebrate the launch of D. Porthault's first ever monograph "D. Porthault The Art of Luxury Linens" Geoff was asked to design something special. Geoff designed a domestic vignette (inspired by the interiors in the book) in his signature decorative painting style that has now become a part of the D. NA of D. Porthault. A tassled valance and tied-back drape set the scene for the display of the "New York Mille Fleurs" pattern seen on the cover of the book. Photographs from the book decorate the folding screen behind.
For Annick Goutal's flagship Madison Avenue store, Geoff Howell Studio created a rose garden as well as large blow-up of the bottle, made completely out of roses for the front window.
Bulgari had a scentual golden idea and its brilliance was realized as "Goldea" on Bloomingdales b'way and storefront windows on Lexington Avenue. Hundreds of square feet of aluminum sheets were custom cut in Bulgari's signature patterns and then formed intosimple waves and cylinders. We also created the s-curve plinths with large format graphics, several large factice and several custom video screens. We're particularly proud of the 10 foot high, 72 inch diameter monolith with a revolving interior plinth displaying the product.
Azure seas, white sands and summer sun were the theme for a Seaside-inspired Tory Burch fragrance promotion at Bloomingdales. For our part, we produced and installed large 3-dimensional blu and gold laminate logos, the beautiful giant Ombred factice, and the white cabana with carefully sewn blue ribbon appliqué.
Basketball is the new Bloomingdales and to help cheer them on, we printed and installed the massive basketball court floor vinyl. Game on!
