In celebration of the Lunar/Chinese New Year, for various locations of Diesel stores nationwide, we created these sculpted aluminum multi-layered and hand-colored wings as well as masks for the mannequins. Happy Year of the Rooster!
An orchard of large 'Video Trees' populates the famous Bloomingdales B'way to promote Clinique's latest promotion. The Aluminum structures were custom produced in our metal shop with custom curved plexi-glass vitrines and LED light strips. Companion displays were created for the Lexington Ave. showcase windows.
In collaboration with the Italian design firm that works with Sunglass Hut, we helped to create a Valentine's display that lies somewhere between the digital and real, combining interactive video animation and physical three dimension versions, as well as complimenting Vinyl and cut-out graphics. Love Boldy!
A look back at a 2014 window we made for the (now-closed) all-things-Mac shop Tekserve using bright orange painted busts, 3-d lettering, frosted plexi and vinyl lettering.
As part of Bloomingdale's (on Lexington in Manhattan) Holiday extravaganza, there's was a prominent spot on the "b'way" for IT-girl Charlotte Tilbury's make-up products and fragrance. For our part, we re-installed large props that are essentially blow-ups of her products that had been made for her big launch earlier in the year during Fashion Week in September.
Here'saquiet-before-the-holiday-storm look at a Dior kiosk we built and installed at a Macy's in Florida, complete with gloss laminated surfaces, large format graphics, 3-dimensional logos, and in-set video screens.
These artsy birds are headed straight (or gay-ly forward) to roost in the windows of the Marni flagship in South Beach during Miami Art Basel. In truth, we were bending and welding steel and aluminum into these modern style bird silhouettes, with added lacquered wooden eyes, beaks and feet.
Baby It's cold inside the windows of fancy french porcelainierre Bernardaud and to celebrate the season, we helped to create a life-size wintery "pop-up book" using custom designed props sent from Paris, complete with everwhites, white-tailed (and bodied) deer, and white rabbits atop drifts of fluffy snow. In the north window, we hung a wall of "starry" lights to preside over the snowy forest.
